Creating your account

One account starts with the student role; eligible additional roles are added inside the account.

One account

Create one edsoQ account with your name, email, date of birth and other required registration details. Every account starts with the student role. Eligible adults can add the parent or teacher role; an authorised owner creates an organisation from inside their account. Creating an account is free.

Age and invitations

A learner under 18 must register through a valid single-use parent or guardian invitation. From the learner's 18th birthday, independent registration is permitted without that invitation, subject to other account eligibility requirements. A new invited learner is linked to the inviting parent or guardian. Linking an existing account requires the student's approval before parent access is granted.

Agreements

When you sign up you accept the current agreements for your account with one tick. If an agreement later changes, you accept the new version with one tick when you sign in or above a signed-in page.

Adding the teacher role

The teacher role is for adults. No teaching licence, degree or teaching certificate is required. After adding the role, complete your profile with a photo of yourself, upload a copy of your own original passport or accepted national ID card and submit identity KYC, then choose Basic, click Subscribe and add a payment card. You can prepare your profile while identity KYC is pending, but publishing or hosting a QSquad needs every teaching-access requirement to be complete. Use the same login for every role the account holds.

Existing learner links

A request to link an existing student account is separate from a new learner invitation. Nothing is disclosed to the requesting parent until the student approves the existing-account link.
