Legal

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and edsoQ for using the platform.

Version 5Draft, effective 4 November 2026

edsoQ is operated by [Operator legal entity — to be confirmed], whose registered address is [Registered address — to be confirmed].

1. Welcome to edsoQ

Welcome to edsoQ (“edsoQ”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a social learning platform designed to help students, parents or guardians, teachers and educational organisations connect, discover learning opportunities, form learning groups and participate in online learning. Our concept is built around QSquads: groups that allow people to learn together and, where available, share the cost of a learning session.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the edsoQ website, applications, features, digital wallets, learning spaces, communications tools and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By registering, accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, payment rules and any feature-specific terms that apply. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The edsoQ slogan is “Split the Fee, Multiply the Knowledge!” Features, prices and availability may change as the platform develops; what is shown in the product when you act is what applies.

2. Who we are and how to contact us

edsoQ is operated by [Operator legal entity — to be confirmed], whose registered address is [Registered address — to be confirmed].

3. Related policies and order of precedence

These Terms should be read with the edsoQ Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, payment and wallet rules, refund/cancellation policy, safeguarding rules, and any additional terms displayed for a particular service. Those documents explain topics that need more detail than these Terms, including personal-data handling, acceptable behaviour, content moderation and transactions.

If a feature-specific agreement conflicts with these Terms, the feature-specific agreement will apply only to that feature and only to the extent of the conflict, unless the agreement expressly says otherwise. Mandatory consumer or other legal rights continue to apply.

4. Eligibility, age and guardian responsibilities

You may use edsoQ only if you are legally able to enter into these Terms and your use is permitted by the laws that apply to you. The platform is designed for learning communities and may be used by students, parents/guardians, teachers and organisations.

A parent or legal guardian who creates, manages or consents to a child’s account is responsible for supervising the child’s use to the extent required by law and the platform’s safeguarding rules. A parent or guardian must provide accurate information and must not impersonate the child or another person. edsoQ may request age, identity, authority or consent information where reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or account administration.

A person under 18 may register only through a valid invitation created by a parent or legal guardian from their own edsoQ account. The invitation is single use and expires, and the learner’s account is linked to that parent or guardian. Registration for a person under 18 without a valid invitation is refused. From their 18th birthday, a person may register independently without a parent or guardian invitation, subject to the other eligibility requirements in these Terms. Linking an existing student account to a parent or guardian requires the student’s approval. A parent or guardian pays for an under-18 learner’s places; a person under 18 does not add funds, post, connect or message other users.

If you believe a child is using the Services in breach of the applicable age or consent requirements, contact support@edsoq.com.

5. Account registration and security

Some features require an account. During registration, you must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise.

  • Do not share passwords or authentication codes, or allow unauthorised people to use your account.
  • Tell edsoQ promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, impersonation or a security incident.
  • Use only the account role and identity that accurately describe you.
  • Do not create accounts using false identities, another person’s information without permission, or misleading organisational details.
  • edsoQ may ask for verification, correct account information, restrict features, or reclaim usernames where reasonably necessary to prevent impersonation, fraud, rights conflicts or security risks.

Every account starts as a Student account. An adult may add the Parent/Guardian or Teacher role from inside their account, and may create an Organisation, which they then own; an organisation is not a separate account. The features visible to an account depend on its roles, verification status, age and consent status and applicable rules. You must not use a role to obtain permissions you are not entitled to.

6. What edsoQ provides

edsoQ is a social learning platform. Depending on the version and features available in your region, the Services may include user profiles, educational posts or other user-generated content, discovery tools, teacher and subject listings, QSquads, learning rooms, group communications, wallet and Creds features, ratings, reviews and organisation tools.

The platform provides technology and tools to help users discover one another and participate in learning activities. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, edsoQ is not itself the school, university, employer, tutor or awarding body for every activity listed by a user. Teachers and organisations are responsible for the accuracy of their own qualifications, course descriptions, schedules, learning materials and service offers.

We may add, change, limit or discontinue features to improve the Services, address safety or technical concerns, meet legal requirements, or respond to operational needs. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice.

7. QSquads: creating and joining learning groups

A QSquad is a learning group created around a course, subject, topic or other learning objective. QSquads are a core edsoQ feature and may allow members to learn together and share the cost of a session. Features and room limits may vary by account type and product version.

A QSquad creation form may request information such as:

  • QSquad title or course title;
  • subject, including supported subjects and user-added subjects where enabled;
  • category, such as School Curriculum, Test Preparation, Languages, Professional Skills, Islamic Studies, University Preparation, Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, Certifications, Seminars or Motivation;
  • language or languages of instruction;
  • summary or description;
  • cover image or other media; and
  • learning outcomes or objectives.

The creator is responsible for making the QSquad description accurate, lawful and suitable for its intended audience. Do not falsely claim accreditation, official university affiliation, guaranteed results, employment, visas or qualifications.

QSquads may be Public or Private where those options are available. Public QSquads may be discoverable by users of the Services. Private QSquads may require an invitation, access link or approval. A shareable QSquad link is a means of inviting or directing users; it does not guarantee that the recipient can access the QSquad, and it must not be shared in a way that violates privacy, safeguarding rules or another person’s rights.

Each QSquad has a group size, from one learner up to the maximum edsoQ sets, and a minimum enrolment, both shown when it is created and on its page. Do not circumvent these limits or use a learning room to host unrelated, unlawful or prohibited activity.

edsoQ does not guarantee that a QSquad will attract members, remain available, meet a particular learning goal or produce a particular academic or professional outcome.

8. Pricing, shared fees and learning sessions

Prices and wallet balances on edsoQ are shown in Creds. One Cred has a value of USD 0.40. The payment summary shows the applicable Tax and whether it is included or additional; Tax must be counted once in the disclosed total. There is no registration fee.

The teacher of a QSquad sets its group session value: what the whole group pays for one one-hour session. The total course commitment is the group session value multiplied by the number of sessions. That total is shared equally between the students enrolled when joining closes. When you join, edsoQ holds in your wallet the most you could owe: the total divided by the QSquad’s minimum enrolment, plus any listed additional fees and any donation you choose. The amount held is reserved, not spent.

Joining and leaving close 24 hours before the first session. Until then you may leave and the amount held is released in full. At that deadline your share is taken from the amount held and the rest is released, so your price can only fall as more students join and is never more than the amount held. If fewer students than the minimum enrolment have joined, the QSquad is cancelled and every amount held is released in full. Payments are held by edsoQ and released to the teacher one session at a time, as each session is taught. The full price, sessions and the amount to be held are shown before you confirm.

QSquads are created and delivered by independent teachers and organisations. Providers are responsible for their listing information, course content and teaching delivery. Students and parents are responsible for reviewing the provider, syllabus, suitability, schedule, fees and terms before joining. edsoQ facilitates discovery and participation and does not guarantee teaching quality, accreditation or learning outcomes.

The checks edsoQ carries out are these. For account verification, a person submits a photo of an identity document showing their name, document number, expiry and nationality, which an edsoQ reviewer checks against their account details. For a teacher, edsoQ carries out identity KYC on the teacher's own profile photo and a copy of their own original accepted national ID card or passport; no teaching licence, degree or teaching certificate is reviewed or required, and the “Identity checked” label means only that this identity KYC was completed. The reviewer examines the document submitted; this is not confirmation with the issuer. For organisation verification, an organisation submits its details for review, and its public page appears only once verified. Verification confirms completion of these checks. It does not constitute a rating or guarantee of teaching quality, course accreditation or learning outcomes, and a price does not imply any endorsement of a teacher or course.

Teachers and organisations must not advertise a price that differs from the amount they intend to charge, conceal mandatory charges, or misrepresent what a participant receives. Cancellations, sessions that were not delivered and refunds are covered in section 11 and the Refund Policy.

9. Wallet balances

Your wallet shows your balance in Creds, any amounts held for QSquads you have joined, and your transaction history. Students and parents/guardians add funds by card, in US dollars at USD 0.40 per Cred or in another supported currency converted at the day’s exchange rate shown before payment. Creds are not a reward or loyalty scheme and cannot be withdrawn as cash by students or parents/guardians. Refunds are returned to the wallet as Creds.

Teachers and organisations receive their earnings in their wallet as each session is taught. There is no teacher deposit. A teacher, or an organisation, may withdraw eligible earnings, paid out in US dollars at USD 0.40 per Cred. The teacher subscription is billed to a saved payment card, not from the wallet; saving that card is not a wallet deposit and does not give withdrawal access. A withdrawal shows the amount, a breakdown of charges (a service charge of 5% of the amount plus Tax on that charge) and the net amount before you confirm. For example, a withdrawal of 1,000 Creds carries a service charge of 50 Creds and Tax of 2.50 Creds, so 947.50 Creds is paid out: USD 379.00.

10. Taxes and third-party payment providers

You authorise edsoQ and its payment providers to process transactions you initiate, subject to the payment method’s terms. You must use a payment method you are authorised to use and provide accurate billing information. Payment providers may apply their own terms, fees, security checks or transaction limits.

The payment summary shows the applicable Tax and whether it is included or additional; Tax must be counted once in the disclosed total. You are responsible for taxes that the law requires you to pay, except for taxes imposed on edsoQ’s income. edsoQ may correct obvious pricing errors before accepting an order and will communicate any material correction before charging you.

11. Refunds, cancellations and payment disputes

Leaving a QSquad before joining closes releases the amount held in full. A QSquad that does not reach its minimum enrolment is cancelled and every amount held is released. A teacher may decline an ordinary booking only before the joining deadline, 24 hours before the first session; the relevant hold or payment is handled under the Refund Policy. After the lock, ordinary removal is not permitted: only edsoQ may restrict or remove a member, as a necessary safety or administrative action, and that action must not increase another learner’s locked amount. Refunds are returned to the wallet as Creds. After joining closes, your share is paid and you cannot leave.

A session that was not delivered, for example because the teacher did not attend, is a different matter from an ordinary cancellation. Report it through Support when you are signed in, or through the contact form at edsoq.com/contact. An edsoQ reviewer considers the report and the evidence available, decides the outcome and tells you. The Refund Policy sets out the steps.

If you believe a payment is incorrect or unauthorised, contact support@edsoq.com promptly and provide the transaction reference. You should also contact your payment provider where appropriate.

edsoQ may temporarily hold or review transactions where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, comply with law, resolve a dispute or protect users. Any such action will be subject to applicable law and the published payment rules.

12. Teacher and organisation responsibilities

Teachers and organisations using edsoQ to offer learning activities must provide truthful profile information and accurate descriptions of their services. They are responsible for the teaching, materials, timetables, attendance arrangements, communications and services they provide, unless a separate written agreement expressly allocates a responsibility to edsoQ.

  • Provide accurate qualifications, experience, language, pricing, availability and course details.
  • Do not claim accreditation, endorsement, official partnership or guaranteed results without a valid basis and permission.
  • Respect learners’ privacy, boundaries, age and safeguarding needs.
  • Use lawful and properly licensed teaching materials.
  • Do not pressure learners to pay off-platform, provide personal contact details, or bypass platform rules in order to evade fees or safeguards.
  • Do not give misleading ratings, create fake attendance or misrepresent activity that did not occur.
  • Comply with applicable education, consumer, employment, tax, child-protection and professional requirements.

Teacher eligibility and identity. A teaching qualification or licence is not a registration requirement for the edsoQ teacher role. You must meet the applicable account and teacher-age rules, provide accurate details, use your own profile photo, submit a copy of your original accepted national ID card or passport, and complete the required identity KYC. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your credentials and any requirements applicable to the teaching you offer.

Teacher subscription. Teaching access requires an enrolled Basic subscription, a saved payment card, accepted applicable terms and completion of identity and access checks. Basic is free through 30 June 2027 and costs USD 5 per month from 1 July 2027. Basic continues at that monthly price from August onward unless a later approved change applies. Plan 2 and Plan 3 are Coming soon and unavailable for purchase. Charges require the disclosed payment summary and applicable authorisation; saving a card alone does not authorise an undisclosed price or plan change. The teacher subscription applies only to the teacher role; it is priced in USD, not Creds, and is billed separately from wallet funding, session payments, revenue sharing and withdrawals. No other role is charged a subscription.

Verification scope. Identity KYC and subscription status do not constitute approval of teaching quality, qualifications, accreditation, course content, future conduct or outcomes. Teachers remain responsible for their profiles, teaching and conduct. edsoQ remains responsible for its own platform processes and duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Organisation accounts are responsible for actions taken by their authorised representatives and for keeping organisational access limited to authorised personnel. An organisation must promptly remove access for personnel who are no longer authorised.

13. Student and parent/guardian responsibilities

Students and parents/guardians must use the Services respectfully and honestly. Before joining a QSquad or paying for a session, review the course description, teacher or organisation profile, price, schedule, language, expected outcomes and applicable cancellation rules.

  • Attend sessions on time and follow reasonable learning-room rules.
  • Do not record, copy, redistribute or publish a class, teacher’s materials or another participant’s image or voice without permission or a lawful basis.
  • Do not share another learner’s personal information, contact details, work or messages without permission.
  • Do not harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against or exploit another user.
  • Report safety concerns, scams, impersonation, inappropriate conduct or unlawful content through the available reporting channel.

Parents and guardians should review the suitability of learning activities for the child in their care and use any supervision or consent features provided by edsoQ.

14. User content and licence to edsoQ

“User Content” means information or material that you submit, upload, publish, stream, display or otherwise make available through the Services, including profile information, text, images, video, audio, course descriptions, QSquad details, comments, messages, reviews and learning materials.

You retain ownership of User Content to the extent you own it. You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions and legal grounds needed to upload it and to grant the licence below. You must not upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights.

To operate, secure, display and improve the Services, you grant edsoQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt technically, display, distribute and make your User Content available as necessary to provide the features you choose to use. This may include displaying a profile or public QSquad, delivering content to invited members, generating previews or thumbnails, moderating content, and making content compatible with different devices. The licence lasts for as long as needed to provide the Services and handle backups, legal obligations, disputes or enforcement, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

This licence does not mean edsoQ owns your content. Content you share publicly may be viewed, copied, captured or redistributed by others. Consider carefully before publishing personal or confidential information. You can use available controls to delete or limit content, but copies may remain with people who previously accessed it, in backups for a limited period, or where retention is required by law.

You must not use other users’ content beyond the permission granted by the creator, the platform features or applicable law. Content posted by users does not necessarily represent edsoQ’s views, and edsoQ does not guarantee that user content is accurate, complete, safe or suitable.

15. Prohibited conduct and content

You must comply with applicable law, these Terms and the edsoQ Community Guidelines. You may not use the Services to:

  • commit, promote or facilitate unlawful activity, fraud, scams or deceptive practices;
  • harass, bully, threaten, stalk, exploit or discriminate against another person;
  • share child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation content, grooming content, or other content that endangers minors;
  • publish threats of violence, instructions or encouragement for serious harm, or content that unlawfully promotes terrorism;
  • infringe copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy, publicity or other rights;
  • impersonate a person, teacher, student, parent, organisation or public body, or misrepresent credentials or affiliation;
  • upload malware, phishing links, harmful code or material intended to compromise systems or accounts;
  • manipulate reviews, ratings, attendance, referrals, wallets, engagement metrics or payment flows;
  • create fake, duplicate or coordinated accounts to deceive users or obtain an improper benefit;
  • scrape, harvest, bulk-download or collect user data through automated means without written permission;
  • use platform content to create datasets or train AI systems without permission from edsoQ and any relevant rights holders, unless such use is permitted by applicable law;
  • circumvent access controls, room limits, payment rules, identity checks or safety measures;
  • record, redistribute or commercialise classes or private communications without appropriate consent or lawful authority; or
  • interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the Services.

This list is not exhaustive. edsoQ may take action against other conduct that creates a safety, legal, security or operational risk, consistent with applicable law and the platform’s policies.

16. Community safety, reporting and moderation

edsoQ may use user reports, human review and automated tools to identify potential violations. We do not promise to review every item before it appears. We may investigate reports and, where appropriate, remove or restrict content, limit access to a feature, issue a warning, suspend an account, withhold a transaction where permitted, or terminate an account.

When deciding what action to take, edsoQ may consider the seriousness and frequency of the conduct, risk to a child or other user, reliability of available evidence, legal obligations, and whether the issue can be corrected. We may preserve relevant information where reasonably necessary for safety, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

If you believe content or conduct violates these Terms, use the in-product report feature where available or contact support@edsoq.com. Please provide enough information for us to locate and assess the issue. Do not submit knowingly false or abusive reports.

17. Restrictions, suspension, termination and appeals

You may stop using edsoQ at any time. If account deletion is available, follow the steps in your account settings or contact support. Deleting an account may not immediately remove all information from backups, transaction records, legal records or content already shared with other users; handling of such information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

edsoQ may restrict, suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or a related policy, created a risk to users or the platform, failed a required verification, engaged in fraud, failed to pay an amount due, or if we must act to comply with law. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and information about available review or appeal options.

If you believe an enforcement decision was mistaken, contact support@edsoq.com and identify the decision, account and relevant facts. edsoQ will review appeals according to its published process. Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Intellectual property owned by edsoQ

The Services, including software, interface design, branding, logos, graphics, text, visual elements, platform features and other materials supplied by edsoQ, are owned by or licensed to edsoQ and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, extract source code from, or create derivative works from the Services.

Subject to these Terms, edsoQ grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not use the edsoQ name, logo, slogan or other branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without prior written permission.

If you submit suggestions or feedback, you permit edsoQ to use them to improve the Services without restriction or payment, unless applicable law prohibits this or the parties agree otherwise in writing.

19. Third-party services and links

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party payment processors, video-conferencing tools, websites, learning resources, app stores or other services. Those third parties may have separate terms and privacy policies. edsoQ does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded by law. A link or listing is not necessarily an endorsement.

You are responsible for reviewing any third-party terms that apply and for ensuring that your use of those services is lawful and appropriate.

20. Privacy and personal information

The edsoQ Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, secured and retained, and how privacy rights may be exercised. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy. Because edsoQ may serve students and minors, users must not publish sensitive personal information about themselves or others unless necessary and lawful. Do not share passwords, identity documents, financial details or a child’s private information in public posts or QSquads.

Where a feature allows you to view or access another person’s information, use it only for the purpose for which it was provided and in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

21. Educational information and no guarantee of outcomes

edsoQ facilitates learning connections; it does not guarantee grades, examination results, admission, accreditation, professional licensing, employment, salary increases or any other academic or career outcome. edsoQ’s verification covers only the checks described in section 8; edsoQ does not verify every statement made by every teacher or organisation.

Users should make their own assessment of a course, tutor, educational provider or learning resource before making a decision or payment. Platform information is not a substitute for professional, academic, legal, medical, financial or other specialist advice.

22. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free or compatible with every device. Maintenance, updates, connectivity problems, third-party failures, cyber incidents, high demand or events outside our reasonable control may affect access.

We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services, subject to applicable law and any specific commitments made to you. We will not exclude liability where the law does not allow us to do so.

23. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not make implied promises that the Services will meet every user’s needs, that user content will be accurate, or that a particular teacher, QSquad or feature will remain available. Any mandatory warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

24. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, edsoQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising from use of or inability to use the Services. This does not apply where such exclusions are prohibited by law.

Subject to mandatory legal rights and the exclusions that cannot lawfully be limited, edsoQ’s total liability for claims arising out of the Services or these Terms will be limited to the amount, if any, you paid directly to edsoQ for the relevant Services during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply where it would be unlawful or unfair under applicable law.

edsoQ is not responsible for disputes between users, including disputes about teaching quality, qualifications, attendance, course materials or a user’s conduct, except to the extent applicable law or a separate written agreement provides otherwise. We may assist with reports or platform processes but do not guarantee resolution.

25. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, your User Content, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This clause does not require you to indemnify edsoQ for losses caused by edsoQ’s own unlawful conduct or where such an obligation is prohibited by law.

26. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, business model, safety practices or legal requirements. We will publish a new version with its effective date and, where required by law or appropriate for a material change, provide notice through the Services or by email. The updated Terms will state when they take effect.

If you do not agree to a material change, you should stop using the affected Services and may close your account, subject to any outstanding obligations. Continued use after the effective date may indicate acceptance where permitted by law. Changes will not remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

27. Governing law and disputes

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact support@edsoq.com first and explain the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints informally. Nothing in this section prevents you from using any mandatory complaint, regulatory or dispute-resolution mechanism available under applicable law.

28. Copyright and intellectual-property complaints

If you believe material on edsoQ infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, send a notice to support@edsoq.com with: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the protected work or right; (c) the location of the material you believe infringes it; (d) an explanation of the basis for your claim; and (e) a statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to make the complaint. We may request further information, remove or restrict material where appropriate, and take action against repeat infringers, subject to applicable law.

Knowingly submitting a false or materially misleading complaint may have legal consequences.

29. Mobile applications and app stores

If you access edsoQ through an app distributed by Apple, Google or another app store, your use may also be subject to that store’s terms. These Terms are between you and the edsoQ operator, not the app-store provider, except where the store’s own terms or applicable law provide otherwise. The operator is responsible for the Services to the extent required by law. App-store providers generally do not have responsibility for edsoQ’s learning services, content or support, unless their terms or law say otherwise.

30. General legal provisions

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits it. edsoQ may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a merger, reorganisation, sale or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the policies and agreements expressly incorporated into them, form the agreement between you and the edsoQ operator concerning the Services, and replace prior understandings on that subject, except for any separate written agreement that expressly remains in force. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership or joint-venture relationship between edsoQ and a user.

31. Contact

For questions about these Terms, account issues, safety concerns, payment matters or legal notices, contact edsoQ Support at support@edsoq.com. This covers privacy, safety and safeguarding, legal notices and disputes. edsoQ is operated by [Operator legal entity — to be confirmed], whose registered address is [Registered address — to be confirmed].

32. Verification scope and independent responsibility

Verification refers only to the particular checks described for that verification process. Reviewing a submitted identity document, licence or certificate is not the same as confirming every statement with an issuer. Verification is not accreditation, a quality rating, an assurance of authorisation in every jurisdiction or a guarantee of future conduct. Providers must keep submitted details current and must not describe an edsoQ badge as official educational approval.

Teachers and organisations are independently responsible for their profiles, qualifications, affiliations, listings, materials, teaching delivery and conduct. Each user is responsible for their own content and behaviour. Learners and parents should review suitability, syllabus, schedule, price and relevant credentials before joining. edsoQ does not guarantee teaching quality, every user statement, accreditation, future conduct or learning outcomes. edsoQ remains responsible for its own platform processes and any duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

33. Consistent payment and participation rules

Creds are payment credits representing confirmed top-ups or eligible platform earnings. One Cred has a value of USD 0.40. Creds are not reward or rebate points. Attendance, referrals, ratings and course completion do not generate reward Creds. There are no Creds lifetime reward levels or colour multipliers.

The minimum total teaching-session value is 100 Creds for the group, not 100 per learner. The teaching-session value multiplied by the number of sessions is the group course commitment. The learner’s share depends on the participant count at the joining deadline. The maximum reservation, sessions, additional fees, optional items, applicable Tax and final total must be disclosed before confirmation. Tax is shown once in the total; a transaction summary states whether it is included or additional. General website wording does not establish one Tax rate for every country.

Joining and ordinary withdrawal close 24 hours before the first session. Before that deadline a learner may leave and the reservation is released under the payment rules. At the deadline, enrolment is assessed and the disclosed share is charged from the hold; any excess hold is released. If minimum enrolment is not met, the QSquad does not proceed and holds are released. After the deadline, students, parents, teachers and organisations cannot make an ordinary cancellation or removal. Safety restrictions, technical incident handling and remedies for non-delivery are separate processes and do not authorise an undisclosed increase in another learner’s locked payment.

Provider revenue shares are 60% for 1–5 learners, 70% for 6–9, 80% for 10 and 90% for more than 10. Above-10 QSquads are for authorised organisations only; an individual teacher’s QSquad is limited to 10 learners. The provider payment summary must identify the sharing basis, participant-count lock, treatment of Tax and pass-through charges, and any deductions before the provider confirms the arrangement. A revenue share is not a guarantee of bookings, earnings or availability for withdrawal.

The current withdrawal service charge is 5% of the withdrawn amount plus applicable Tax on that charge, separately from the provider revenue share. Pending, reserved or disputed funds are not necessarily available for withdrawal. Payment summaries must show the gross amount, deductions and net payout; neither income nor payout dates are guaranteed.

Before confirming, review the final amount and any disclosed rounding adjustment. The total must reconcile with the transaction record; no undisclosed charge may exceed the maximum hold accepted by the payer.

If a teacher has not joined when a session is due to start, report the session through its reporting option or Support; use the public Contact form if you cannot sign in. Include the scheduled time and time zone, the session reference and what occurred. Attendance records, participant information and any relevant technical incident may be considered. A report alone does not establish fault. Disputed earnings may be held pending review. The decision may provide an eligible refund for the undelivered part, or a replacement session accepted by the affected learner, according to the applicable terms and rights. A learner need not accept an undisclosed replacement or pay again merely to report non-delivery.

Confirmed provider non-attendance may lead to an account warning, corrective steps, temporary restrictions on hosting or publishing, or suspension or termination for serious or repeated failures. The response depends on the evidence, seriousness, previous incidents and applicable rules. Refund adjustments concern the affected transaction; no automatic monetary fine or fixed penalty amount is established by this text. A provider may submit relevant evidence and request review through Support.

34. Age and parent invitations

A learner under 18 must register through a valid single-use parent or guardian invitation. From the learner’s 18th birthday, independent registration is permitted without that invitation, subject to other account eligibility requirements. A new invited learner is linked to the inviting parent or guardian. Linking an existing account requires the student’s approval before parent access is granted.
