How edsoQ works
Discover how edsoQ works
edsoQ brings learning and community together. Explore subjects, discover teachers and join QSquads built around a shared learning goal — before signing up. When you are ready, create your account, then add the role you need.
Before you sign up
Start by exploring
- 01
Find your subject
Browse learning areas or search for the topic you want to study. - 02
Discover a QSquad
A QSquad brings a teacher and learners together with a learning plan, schedule and group size. Groups run from one learner to a full group. - 03
Review before committing
Read the syllabus, learning outcomes, teacher profile, teaching language, session times and fees. Check the requirements and joining terms.
Students
Your journey as a student
- 1
Create your account
Sign up with your name, email, date of birth and a password. Every account starts as a student. Under 18? Sign up with the invitation link your parent sends you. - 2
Choose your QSquad
Find learning that matches your goals, level, schedule and budget. - 3
Review and confirm
Follow the joining steps and confirm. edsoQ holds the most you could owe in your wallet; your price can only go down as more people join. - 4
Learn and connect
Attend scheduled sessions, participate in discussions and use the learning materials and assignments provided by your teacher. - 5
Continue your progress
Review your learning experience and explore your next QSquad.
Before your first session
- Check the session date, time zone and duration.
- Prepare any materials listed by your teacher.
- Check your internet connection and the required device features.
- Open your QSquad and join on time.
Parents and guardians
Your journey as a parent or guardian
Explore teacher profiles and QSquads to understand the learning options available for your child.
A new learner under 18 can only register through a parent’s invitation. Linking an existing student account is a separate request that the student must approve; a pending request shows you nothing.
- 1
Create your account
Create your own edsoQ account, then add the parent role from inside it. - 2
Invite your child
For a new learner under 18, create an invitation from Family. Your child registers with that single-use link, which expires, and their account is linked to yours. - 3
Or link an existing account
If your child already has an account, send a link request. Nothing is shared with you until the student approves it. - 4
Support your child
Pay for your child’s places, set spending controls and follow their sessions and progress.
Teachers
Your journey as a teacher
- 01
Add the teacher role
Create your account, then add the teacher role from inside it. - 02
Complete identity KYC
Upload a photo of yourself and a copy of your own original passport or accepted national ID card. No teaching licence or degree is needed. - 03
Describe what you teach
Describe the subjects, levels and languages you teach. - 04
Create a QSquad
Fill in the Create a QSquad form: learning plan, group size, minimum enrolment, schedule, group session value and visibility. - 05
Start free and review the terms
Every teacher starts with six months of free, unlimited QSquads, no card needed. Before they end, choose a plan paid monthly in Creds from your wallet. Read how earnings are released and how withdrawals work. There is no teacher deposit. - 06
Publish and invite
Publish and share your QSquad’s link with learners. - 07
Teach and get paid
Teach each session. Payment is released to you one session at a time, as each is taught, and you can withdraw it, paid out in US dollars.
Organisations
Your journey as an organisation
An organisation is not a separate account. Create your own account, then create the organisation from inside it — you become its owner and invite your team. The organisation submits its details for review, and its public page appears once it is verified.
Organisation-led QSquads
An organisation’s teachers create its QSquads. Teachers join an organisation by accepting its invitation.
Community
Connect through learning
A shared place to learn
QSquads provide a shared place for learning and discussion. edsoQ also brings a social element to the learning experience through profiles and the community features available in your account.
Respect and privacy
Use privacy controls thoughtfully, respect other members and follow edsoQ community guidelines.
Payments
Understand payments
Your edsoQ wallet
Prices and balances are in Creds, each with a fixed US dollar value. Add funds by card in US dollars or your own currency. Students and parents cannot withdraw Creds as cash; refunds return to the wallet as Creds.
Group learning and shared fees
The teacher sets a group session value. The total is shared between the students enrolled when joining closes — so the more who join, the less each pays. A one-to-one QSquad is paid by its one learner.
Joining and leaving close 24 hours before the first session.
