Agreements and why they are versioned
Accept the current agreements with one tick; edsoQ records the specific version you accepted and never overwrites it.
One tick at sign-up
When you create your account, one tick accepts all the current agreements that apply to it. There is no separate page of agreements to work through.
When an agreement changes
Agreements change over time; a change is a new version, never an edit of the old one. When a new version applies to a role your account holds, you are asked to accept it with one tick when you sign in or above a signed-in page. Until you accept, actions that need that agreement are paused.
What is recorded
edsoQ records which agreement, which version, when, and the account that accepted it. An earlier acceptance is never overwritten by a later one; both records are kept. For example, the teacher terms changed in October 2026 when identity KYC and the teacher subscription replaced the teaching-licence review.
