General Questions About edsoQ
13 questions
What is edsoQ?
edsoQ is a social learning platform that brings students, parents, teachers, and educational organisations together in one digital environment. It combines social discovery with collaborative learning through QSquads, helping people access educational opportunities and share learning costs.
Why was edsoQ created?
edsoQ was created to make learning more accessible, affordable, and collaborative. We believe education should not be limited by the cost of individual tuition when learners can benefit from studying together.
What does “Split the Fee, Multiply the Knowledge” mean?
It represents the core idea behind edsoQ. Eligible participants can share the cost of a learning session, potentially reducing the cost per participant while benefiting from collaborative learning.
Is edsoQ a social media platform or an educational platform?
Both. edsoQ combines social interaction and educational discovery with structured learning opportunities. Users can discover subjects, connect with learners, join QSquads, and engage with teachers and educational organisations.
What is a QSquad?
A QSquad is a learning group created around a course, subject, skill, or educational objective. Depending on its settings, a QSquad can be public or private and may allow learners to participate in shared learning sessions. See the QSquads page
Who can use edsoQ?
Students, parents and guardians, teachers and educational organisations. A learner under 18 must register through an invitation from a parent or guardian’s edsoQ account. From their 18th birthday, a learner may register independently without that invitation, subject to the other account eligibility requirements.
Is edsoQ free to use?
Creating an account is free and there is no registration fee. You pay for the QSquads you join, in Creds from your wallet. Teaching access requires a teacher subscription: Every teacher starts with six months of free, unlimited QSquads, with no card needed. After that, Basic is free (1 active QSquad), Pro is 10 Creds a month (up to 5), Max is 40 Creds a month (up to 25), Pro Max is 100 Creds a month (up to 100), paid from your wallet.
Is edsoQ available internationally?
edsoQ is launching in the UAE. Prices are shown in Creds (1 Cred = USD 0.40), every time is shown in your own time zone, and wallets are topped up by card in US dollars or in your own currency at the day’s rate.
Which languages does edsoQ support?
Users can identify languages relevant to their learning activities and QSquads. Available languages may expand over time, and interface language availability may differ from the languages offered by individual teachers.
How is edsoQ different from traditional online tutoring?
Traditional tutoring often has one student paying for a whole session. On edsoQ a teacher sets one price for the whole group per session, and the learners enrolled share it equally — a QSquad can also be for a single learner.
Does edsoQ guarantee academic results?
No. edsoQ facilitates learning opportunities but cannot guarantee grades, examination results, qualifications, employment, or other academic outcomes.
Does edsoQ issue academic qualifications?
The availability of qualifications or certificates depends on the specific provider and programme. Verify the awarding body, accreditation, entry requirements, and recognition before enrolling.
How do I get started?
Create your account and set up your profile. Every account starts as a student, so you can learn straight away. From the same account an adult can later link a child (parent features start when the student accepts) or become a teacher (teaching starts when every setup step is complete). An organisation is created from inside an account by the person who will own it. You never need a second account. Create your account
Section 02
QSquads and Group Learning
17 questions
How does a QSquad work?
Anybody aged 18 or over with a completed profile creates a QSquad around what they want to learn — title, subject, schedule, group size, minimum enrolment and group session value — and owns it. One teacher is confirmed to teach it as its teacher admin, either because the owner is a teacher who teaches it themselves, invited a teacher who accepted, or accepted a teacher who asked to teach it. Once its teacher is confirmed, learners join before the joining deadline and learn together over its sessions.
Who can create a QSquad?
Any student, parent or teacher aged 18 or over with a completed profile can create a QSquad and publish it as a request looking for a teacher — no teacher subscription is needed for that. Whoever creates it is its owner, for good. Teaching it needs a teacher with active teaching access: identity KYC approved, their own profile photo and an enrolled teacher subscription. A learner under 18’s QSquad is created by their parent or guardian.
a. What does “Looking for a teacher” mean?
Its owner published it as a request with no teacher yet. Teachers can find it in Find QSquads to teach and ask to teach it, and the owner accepts one. Nobody can join, nothing is taught and nothing is charged until a teacher is confirmed. If the owner changes the request after a teacher asked, that teacher confirms the new version before they can be accepted.
b. Does the teacher become the owner of my QSquad?
No. You stay its owner; the confirmed teacher is its teacher admin, who teaches the sessions and is paid the teacher’s share. Owning a QSquad gives no teaching earnings and adds no charge.
Can I create a QSquad for any subject?
QSquads may cover school subjects, languages, examination preparation, professional skills, digital marketing, Islamic studies, university preparation, diplomas, degrees, certifications, seminars, and other permitted learning topics.
What information is required to create a QSquad?
A course title, subject, category, language, description and learning outcomes, plus the schedule, group size, minimum enrolment, group session value, session length and visibility. Every session in a QSquad is the same length.
Can I make my QSquad public or private?
Yes. A public QSquad appears in listings. A private one is open to anybody signed in who has the link, and a connections-only one to the teacher’s connections.
Can I share a QSquad with friends?
Yes, where sharing is enabled. Recipients must meet the applicable joining requirements.
How many students can join a QSquad?
Each QSquad has a capacity set by its teacher, up to a maximum set by edsoQ, and a separate minimum enrolment. Pricing shows the current maximum. See the worked example on Pricing
Can I join more than one QSquad?
Yes, subject to account eligibility and any platform limits.
Do I need to pay to join a QSquad?
Yes. You pay your share of the QSquad’s total course commitment, in Creds. When you join, the most you could owe is held in your wallet; your final share is charged when joining closes and the rest of the hold is released.
How does group learning reduce costs?
The teacher sets one group session value for the whole group, and the learners enrolled when joining closes share it equally. With five learners, each pays a fifth of it per session; with ten, a tenth. See the worked example on Pricing
What happens if a QSquad does not reach its expected number of participants?
If fewer than the minimum enrolment have joined when joining closes, the QSquad is cancelled, nothing is charged and every hold is released in full.
Can a QSquad owner remove a participant?
A teacher may decline an ordinary booking only before the joining deadline, 24 hours before the first session. After the lock, ordinary removal or cancellation is not permitted. Safety restrictions and non-delivery remedies are handled separately under the applicable policy.
Can I leave a QSquad?
Yes, until joining closes before the first session; each QSquad page shows the exact date and time in your own time zone. Your hold is released in full. After joining closes you cannot leave through the normal enrolment process.
Can parents join QSquads for their children?
Yes. Once a student has accepted the parent connection, the parent chooses that student at “Who is this booking for?” and pays from the parent’s own wallet. The student is the learner and receives the QSquad’s sessions and attendance; the parent is the payer and is not enrolled. A teacher who is also a parent books for their child the same way.
Can I report an inappropriate QSquad?
Yes. Use the available reporting tools or contact edsoQ Support with relevant details.
Section 03
Student Accounts and Parent Access
12 questions
How do I register as a student?
Create your account with your name, email, date of birth, gender and a password. Every account starts as a student. If you are under 18, register through a valid invitation link from a parent or guardian. From your 18th birthday, you may register independently without that invitation.
How does a learner under 18 join?
A learner under 18 must register through a valid parent or guardian invitation. The parent uses their own edsoQ account, chooses Link a child, confirms they are the child’s parent or guardian and makes an invitation. The learner registers using that link, after reading what the parent will be able to see and do; registering is their acceptance, and their account is still a student account. The invitation is single use and expires. Registration for a learner under 18 without a valid invitation is refused. From the learner’s 18th birthday, they may register independently, and parent linking stays available.
How do student and parent roles work?
There is one account. Every account is a student account, and parent and teaching features are added to it rather than replacing it. Parent features for a child start only when that student accepts your connection — a sent, waiting, expired or declined invitation gives you nothing. Your own learning, your children and your teaching each have their own area: My learning, My children and Teaching.
How does a parent link to an existing student account?
Choose Link a child, enter the student’s email or username and confirm you are their parent or guardian. The student sees your name and photo and exactly what accepting would let you see and do, then accepts, declines or reports the request. Until they accept you see nothing about them; an unanswered request expires and can be sent again a limited number of times. A student can also send their parent an invitation link. Linking is available for students of any age and is never ended automatically at 18. Accepting confirms the connection on edsoQ; it is not proof of parenthood or legal guardianship. Either of you can remove it at any time.
Can parents add funds to a student's account?
A parent adds funds to their own wallet and pays for a linked child’s seats from it. Learners under 18 do not add funds.
Can students communicate directly with teachers?
Messaging is between connected adults. Learners under 18 do not connect, message or post; they take part in their QSquads’ sessions.
Can students create their own learning groups?
Yes. A student aged 18 or over can create a QSquad around what they want to learn and publish it as a request: teachers find it and ask to teach it, or the student invites one. The student owns it; a confirmed teacher teaches it. Creating a QSquad does not enrol or charge you — you join it like anybody else once its teacher is confirmed.
What information should I include in my student profile?
Include only information necessary for learning, such as a display name, interests, preferred subjects, and learning goals. Do not publish passwords, home addresses, or sensitive personal information.
Can I change my account details?
Editable information can be updated through account settings. Some changes may require verification or support assistance.
What if I forget my password?
Use the password-reset process on the login page. If you cannot regain access, contact Support. Reset your password
Can I have more than one account?
Use one account: parent and teaching features are added to it, never created as separate accounts, and your learning history stays with it. Multiple accounts used to manipulate reviews or verification may be restricted.
Can I delete my student or parent account?
You may request deletion through settings or Support, subject to verification, outstanding transactions, and legal retention obligations.
Section 04
Teachers and Teaching Opportunities
23 questions
Who can become a teacher on edsoQ?
An adult with a completed edsoQ profile can start teacher setup from their own account; no teaching qualification is required, and they keep everything they do as a learner. Teaching starts once three steps are complete: teaching details with their own profile photo, an approved identity check, and enrolling in the free teacher subscription. Every new teacher starts with six months of free, unlimited QSquads, with no card needed.
How do I register as a teacher?
From your account choose Become a teacher, then Continue to teacher setup. Add your teaching details and a photo of yourself, upload a copy of your own original passport or national ID card for identity KYC, and enrol in your free teacher subscription — no card or payment details. Teacher setup shows each step’s status. Your six-month free period starts when you begin teacher setup. You start teaching when every step is complete; until then you keep learning as usual. Become a teacher
Do I need a teaching licence or degree to join as a teacher?
No teaching licence, degree or teaching certificate is required for platform registration. You must meet account eligibility rules, provide your own profile photo and accepted identity document, complete identity KYC, and enrol in the teacher subscription — free during the six-month free period. You are responsible for any requirements applicable to the teaching services you offer, and you must represent any qualifications accurately.
What documents and photos do I upload?
Upload a profile photo of yourself and a clear copy of your own original accepted national ID card or passport. Accepted documents depend on nationality and issuing country. No separate portrait or KYC selfie upload is required in this flow.
Do I need to pay or add a card to start teaching?
No. Every teacher gets six calendar months of free, unlimited QSquad creation and administration, once, starting when they become a teacher. No card or payment details are needed, and adding or switching roles never restarts it. Every teacher starts with six months of free, unlimited QSquads, with no card needed. After that, Basic is free (1 active QSquad), Pro is 10 Creds a month (up to 5), Max is 40 Creds a month (up to 25), Pro Max is 100 Creds a month (up to 100), paid from your wallet. See teacher plans
What happens when the free period ends?
Reminders start two months before it ends. Choose a plan and authorise its monthly wallet debit at any time before then, without payment details; the first debit is taken when the free period ends, from your spendable wallet balance only — never pending earnings or reserved money, and never part of a month. QSquads above your plan’s allowance go On hold — subscription required: nobody can join and the next sessions do not open, but enrolments, the schedule and payments are kept. You choose which QSquads continue.
Which plans are there after the free period?
Basic is 0 Creds: 1 active QSquad and 1 new QSquad per calendar month. Pro is 10 Creds a month for up to 5 active QSquads, Max 40 Creds for up to 25, and Pro Max 100 Creds for up to 100. Custom capacity is agreed with edsoQ. Plans are paid monthly in Creds from your wallet — no card and no currency conversion.
Does a subscription make me a verified teacher?
No. The subscription and identity KYC are separate, and so is each step: enrolling in the subscription alone does not start teaching. Teaching access requires an approved identity check, your own profile photo and an enrolled subscription that covers you now.
Do I still need to pay a teacher deposit?
No teacher deposit is required. The teacher subscription is separate from session prices and revenue sharing; after the free period, its monthly fee is paid from your wallet like any other Creds payment.
Can I teach online through QSquads?
Where session functionality is available, teachers can offer eligible learning activities through QSquads under the relevant delivery and payment terms.
Can I set my own teaching fees?
Yes. You set the group session value — what the whole group pays per session — within the bounds shown on Pricing, along with the number of sessions, the group size and the minimum enrolment. See Pricing
How does group pricing work for teachers?
The learners enrolled when joining closes share the total course commitment. What they pay is held as held funds and released to your earnings one session at a time, as each session is taught. Earnings are not guaranteed.
How do teachers receive payments?
Eligible session earnings are recorded in your wallet under the provider terms; available earnings may be requested for payout, paid in US dollars at the Cred’s value, subject to verification and payout conditions. The withdrawal screen shows the amount, a breakdown of charges and the net amount before you confirm.
Does edsoQ charge teachers a payout fee?
Yes. A withdrawal carries a service charge on the amount withdrawn plus Tax on that charge, shown as a breakdown of charges with the net amount before you confirm. Pricing shows the current rates with an example. See withdrawal charges
Can teachers create multiple QSquads?
Teachers may create multiple QSquads where enabled and while their accounts remain in good standing.
Can teachers teach more than one subject?
Yes, subject to competence, any legal requirements that apply to that teaching, and platform rules.
Can teachers promote their QSquads?
Teachers may promote QSquads through permitted features, provided promotional materials are truthful and comply with platform rules.
How do teacher ratings and reviews work?
Where enabled, eligible users may provide genuine feedback. Fabricated, purchased, manipulated, or undisclosed incentivised reviews are prohibited.
Can a teacher cancel or reschedule a session?
Cancellations and rescheduling must follow the session terms. Teachers should notify participants promptly and comply with applicable refund requirements.
Can teachers contact students outside edsoQ?
Contact must comply with law, privacy requirements, child-safety rules, and platform policies. Unauthorised marketing or inappropriate contact is prohibited.
Can teachers join before they start teaching?
Yes. You can add the teacher role and prepare your profile straight away; you can open and host QSquads once your identity KYC is approved; your six-month free period needs no card.
Does edsoQ guarantee teachers a minimum income?
No. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, edsoQ does not guarantee enrolments, bookings, hours, or earnings.
Can a teacher's account be suspended?
Accounts may be restricted, suspended, or terminated for policy violations, fraud, misrepresentation, safety concerns, or other permitted grounds.
Section 05
Organisations and Partnerships
12 questions
What is an organisation on edsoQ?
An organisation is not a separate account. A person creates the organisation from inside their own account and becomes its owner; teachers join it by accepting an invitation. Its public page appears once it is verified.
Who can register as an organisation?
Institutions, training centres, tutoring businesses and learning communities. The organisation submits its details for review, and its public page appears only once it is verified.
How is an organisation created?
Create your account, then create the organisation from inside it. You become its owner and can invite administrators and teachers, each of whom uses their own login. Create an organisation
Is there an organisation registration fee?
No. There is no registration fee for an organisation or for any other account.
Can organisations create large QSquads?
Where supported, organisations may have access to customised QSquads and larger groups, subject to configuration, pricing, and service restrictions.
Can an organisation manage multiple teachers?
Organisation-level features may allow authorised administrators to coordinate teachers and learning activities. Organisations remain responsible for their representatives' compliance.
Can organisations offer courses or training programmes?
Eligible organisations may offer permitted learning activities. Claims about accreditation, certification, recognition, or outcomes must be accurate and verifiable.
Can organisations collaborate with edsoQ?
Organisations can contact edsoQ through its official Support or partnership channel. Commercial collaborations may require separate written terms.
Can organisations earn revenue through edsoQ?
Yes. An organisation has its own wallet, separate from its members’, and its earnings from QSquads can be withdrawn and are paid out in US dollars. Revenue is not guaranteed.
Can organisations access student information?
Organisations may access only information authorised for their role and necessary for the relevant activity, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Can organisations promote their websites or courses?
Permitted promotion may be available subject to marketing and commercial-use rules. Deceptive offers, false affiliations, and unsolicited communications are prohibited.
Can edsoQ terminate an organisation partnership?
Partnerships may be suspended or terminated under the relevant agreement, Terms of Service, and law. Outstanding obligations must be addressed under applicable terms.
Section 06
Pricing, Payments and Refunds
22 questions
How much does a learning session cost?
Each QSquad shows its group session value — what the whole group pays per session — and its number of sessions. The learners enrolled when joining closes share the total equally, so the price per learner goes down as more people join. See the worked example on Pricing
Is there a worked example?
Yes. Pricing shows one QSquad from listing to settlement: the group session value, the number of sessions, the total course commitment, the amount held when you join and what each learner pays for every enrolment. See the worked example on Pricing
Can my price go up after I join?
No. When you join, the most you could owe is held: the total course commitment ÷ the minimum enrolment. Every learner who joins after you lowers what each person pays.
Are prices shown in Creds?
Yes. Prices and wallet balances are shown in Creds. 1 Cred = USD 0.40, and you top up by card in US dollars or in your own currency at the day’s rate.
Are taxes included in the displayed price?
The payment summary states whether applicable Tax is included or additional and shows the rate, amount and final total before confirmation. Tax is counted once in that total.
What payment methods can I use?
You add funds to your wallet by card on a secure checkout page, paying in US dollars or in another supported currency at the day’s rate. QSquads are then paid for in Creds from your wallet.
Is it safe to make payments through edsoQ?
Use official payment flows. Never share passwords, one-time passcodes, or payment-card security credentials with another user.
Does edsoQ store my card?
No. Card details are entered on the payment provider’s secure checkout page each time you add funds.
Can I add funds to my wallet?
Yes. Adults add funds by card, in US dollars or another supported currency, and receive the Creds shown once the payment is confirmed. Learners under 18 do not add funds; a parent pays for their seats.
Is there a minimum wallet deposit?
Yes. The smallest top-up is shown on the Add funds screen in your wallet.
Do teachers need to add money to their wallets?
No. There is no teacher deposit. Teachers start with six free months; after that, a paid plan’s monthly fee is debited in Creds from the wallet’s spendable balance. Earnings arrive in the wallet as sessions are taught.
Can I withdraw my wallet balance?
Students and parents cannot withdraw Creds as cash. Teachers and organisations can withdraw their earnings, paid out in US dollars.
What happens if my payment fails?
Check your details and payment-provider notifications. If you were debited but the transaction is missing, retain the reference and contact Support.
What happens if I am charged twice?
Contact Support with transaction references, dates, amounts, and payment confirmation. The transaction must be reviewed before an adjustment or refund is confirmed.
Can I get a refund for a QSquad session?
Leaving before joining closes releases your hold in full, and a QSquad cancelled below its minimum charges nothing. For anything else, the Refund Policy applies; refunds go back to your wallet as Creds. Refund Policy
What if a teacher cancels a paid session?
Contact support. Refunds for sessions that were not delivered go back to your wallet as Creds; the Refund Policy sets out the details. Refund Policy
What if I change my mind after joining?
Leave before joining closes and your hold is released in full. After joining closes you cannot leave through the normal enrolment process.
Can I get back Creds I added?
Creds in a student or parent wallet cannot be withdrawn as cash. If you believe a top-up was taken in error, contact support with the transaction reference from your wallet.
Where does a refund go?
Back to your wallet as Creds, shown in your transaction history. If a refund you expect has not appeared, contact support with the transaction reference.
Does edsoQ charge transaction or payout fees?
There is no registration fee. Teachers start with six free months; after that, Basic is 0 Creds and paid plans are a monthly Creds debit from the wallet. A QSquad’s price may include additional fees its provider lists. Teacher and organisation withdrawals carry a service charge plus Tax on that charge, shown before you confirm. See fees and Tax
Can I dispute a payment?
Contact Support with transaction details. If unresolved, you may also contact your payment provider, subject to its procedures and applicable law.
What happens to my balance if my account is suspended?
Contact support. How a balance is treated depends on the reason for the suspension and on any disputed transactions.
Section 07
edsoQ Creds and Referrals
9 questions
What are edsoQ Creds?
Creds are edsoQ’s payment unit. 1 Cred = USD 0.40, and every wallet balance and price on edsoQ is shown in whole Creds. How Creds work
How do I get Creds?
Only by adding funds to your wallet by card, in US dollars or another supported currency at the day’s rate. You receive the Creds shown once the payment is confirmed.
Can I use Creds to pay for learning sessions?
Yes. QSquads are paid for in Creds from your wallet.
Can I convert Creds into cash or withdraw them?
Students and parents cannot withdraw Creds as cash. Teachers and organisations withdraw their earnings, paid out in US dollars.
Can I transfer Creds to another user?
No. Transfers, external sales, or unauthorised exchanges of Creds between accounts are strictly prohibited.
Can I earn Creds through activity?
No. Creds are not a rewards system: there are no Creds for activity, referrals or levels.
Do referrals earn a reward?
No. You can share a QSquad’s link with a friend, but referrals carry no reward.
Can Creds be adjusted?
A transaction credited in error or reversed by a chargeback is corrected with a reversing entry, shown in your transaction history. Contact support to question an adjustment.
Are Creds a cryptocurrency or investment?
No. Creds are edsoQ’s payment unit for paying within edsoQ, not an investment, a cryptocurrency or a currency you can trade.

What if a QSquad or session is not visible?
Check search terms, filters, permissions, and visibility settings. Private QSquads may require an invitation.
What if a payment is successful but my booking is missing?
Save the payment confirmation, check booking history, and contact Support if the booking remains missing. Avoid paying again until the first transaction is checked.
How does edsoQ protect my personal information?
The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, why it is used, how it is shared and retained, and what rights users have under applicable law. Privacy Policy

Visibility depends on information you provide, profile settings, QSquad settings, account role, and platform features. Avoid sharing sensitive information publicly.
Is edsoQ safe for children?
Learners under 18 join through a parent invitation, are linked to that parent, and do not connect, message or post. A parent pays for their seats and can follow their sessions and attendance. Report any concern through Trust & Safety. Trust & Safety
Can I report harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour?
Yes. Use reporting tools or contact Support. Threats, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, and other prohibited conduct may lead to moderation or account restrictions.

Post only materials you own, have permission to use, or may lawfully use. Do not upload protected content without the required rights or legal basis.
Can I record a teaching session?
Recording must comply with law, privacy requirements, participant rights, and platform rules. Obtain required consent before recording or distributing sessions.
Can I download or delete my data?
Subject to law and technical capabilities, users may request access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, accounting, or dispute purposes.
How do I report a security issue?
Contact edsoQ through official Support and describe the issue clearly. Do not publicly disclose sensitive vulnerability details or private data.
What if my account has been compromised?
Change your password if possible, secure your associated email, review security settings, and contact Support about unauthorised activity.
Section 09
Account Registration, Eligibility and Platform Rules
7 questions
How do I use a scholarship or promotional code?
Enter the code in the designated field and confirm the discount before payment. Check the terms if the code is invalid, expired, or ineligible.
What does edsoQ verify?
Account verification: you submit a photo of an identity document (name, number, expiry, nationality), which an edsoQ reviewer checks against your account details. Teacher identity check: the teacher uses a real photo of themselves as their profile photo and submits a copy of their own original passport or accepted national ID card for identity KYC; no teaching licence, degree or certificate is required. The “Identity checked” label means the teacher completed edsoQ’s identity KYC. It does not verify teaching qualifications, accreditation, teaching quality, every profile statement, future conduct or learning outcomes, and a teacher subscription is not a professional endorsement. Organisation verification: the organisation submits its details for review. Documents are stored privately and every access is recorded. Verification confirms completion of edsoQ’s stated checks. It does not constitute a rating or guarantee of teaching quality, course accreditation or learning outcomes.
What happens if I provide false information?
False information, forged documents, or misleading qualifications may lead to rejection, restriction, suspension, or termination under the Terms of Service and applicable law.
Can I add a role?
Yes. You add roles rather than change them. Every account is a student; an adult can add the parent and teacher roles from inside their account, and they stack. The teacher role needs identity KYC, your own profile photo and an active teacher subscription before you host a QSquad; the six-month free period counts, and adding a role never restarts it.
Can edsoQ change its features or policies?
Features, services, pricing, and policies may be updated under the Terms of Service and applicable law. Material changes will be communicated where required.
What happens if I violate the Terms of Service?
Depending on the circumstances, edsoQ may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or terminate access where permitted.
Can I close my account at any time?
You may request closure through settings or Support, subject to verification, outstanding transactions, retention requirements, and contractual obligations.

- Creds
- Creds are payment credits representing confirmed top-ups or eligible platform earnings. One Cred has a value of USD 0.40; top-ups are paid in US dollars at that value, or in another supported currency at the day’s rate. Creds are not reward or rebate points. Attendance, referrals, ratings and course completion do not generate reward Creds. There are no Creds lifetime reward levels or colour multipliers.
- Teacher subscription
- Teaching access requires an approved identity check, the teacher’s own profile photo and an active teacher subscription. The six-month free period is given once, from when a person becomes a teacher (teachers who joined before 21 October 2026 have six months from that date); no card or payment details are needed, and adding or switching roles never restarts it. Custom capacity is agreed with edsoQ. A plan can be chosen and its monthly wallet debit authorised before the free period ends; the first debit is taken when it ends. Fees are paid in Creds from the wallet’s spendable balance only — never pending earnings or reserved funds, and never a partial debit. Reminders start two months before the free period ends. QSquads above a plan’s allowance are On hold — subscription required until a suitable plan is active: nobody can join and the next sessions do not open, while enrolments, the schedule and payments are kept, and the teacher chooses which QSquads continue. Subscription fees are separate from session prices and revenue sharing, a subscription does not verify identity, and there is no teacher deposit.
- Group value and Tax
- The minimum total teaching-session value is 100 Creds for the group, not 100 Creds per learner. The teaching-session value multiplied by the number of sessions is the group course commitment. The learner’s share depends on the participant count at the joining deadline. The maximum reservation, sessions, additional fees, optional items, applicable Tax and final total must be disclosed before confirmation. Tax is shown once in the total; a transaction summary states whether it is included or additional. General website wording does not establish one Tax rate for every country.
- Joining deadline
- Joining and ordinary withdrawal close 24 hours before the first session. Before that deadline a learner may leave and the reservation is released under the payment rules. At the deadline, enrolment is assessed and the disclosed share is charged from the hold; any excess hold is released. If minimum enrolment is not met, the QSquad does not proceed and holds are released. After the deadline, students, parents, teachers and organisations cannot make an ordinary cancellation or removal. Safety restrictions, technical incident handling and remedies for non-delivery are separate processes and do not authorise an undisclosed increase in another learner’s locked payment.
- Provider revenue share
- Provider revenue shares are 60% for 1–5 learners, 70% for 6–9, 80% for 10 and 90% for more than 10. Above-10 QSquads are for authorised organisations only; an individual teacher’s QSquad is limited to 10 learners. The provider payment summary must identify the sharing basis, participant-count lock, treatment of Tax and pass-through charges, and any deductions before the provider confirms the arrangement. A revenue share is not a guarantee of bookings, earnings or availability for withdrawal.
- Withdrawal charges
- The current withdrawal service charge is 5% of the withdrawn amount plus applicable Tax on that charge, separately from the provider revenue share. The net payout is paid in US dollars at USD 0.40 per Cred. Pending, reserved or disputed funds are not necessarily available for withdrawal. Payment summaries must show the gross amount, deductions and net payout; neither income nor payout dates are guaranteed.
- Before you confirm
- Before confirming, review the final amount and any disclosed rounding adjustment. The total must reconcile with the transaction record; no undisclosed charge may exceed the maximum hold accepted by the payer.
- If a teacher does not attend
- If a teacher has not joined when a session is due to start, report the session through its reporting option or Support; use the public Contact form if you cannot sign in. Include the scheduled time and time zone, the session reference and what occurred. Attendance records, participant information and any relevant technical incident may be considered. A report alone does not establish fault. Disputed earnings may be held pending review. The decision may provide an eligible refund for the undelivered part, or a replacement session accepted by the affected learner, according to the applicable terms and rights. A learner need not accept an undisclosed replacement or pay again merely to report non-delivery.
- Provider non-attendance
- Confirmed provider non-attendance may lead to an account warning, corrective steps, temporary restrictions on hosting or publishing, or suspension or termination for serious or repeated failures. The response depends on the evidence, seriousness, previous incidents and applicable rules. Refund adjustments concern the affected transaction; no automatic monetary fine or fixed penalty amount is established by this text. A provider may submit relevant evidence and request review through Support.
