edsoQ is operated by [Operator legal entity — to be confirmed], whose registered address is [Registered address — to be confirmed].
Our community, our shared responsibility
edsoQ is a social learning platform designed to help students, parents and guardians, teachers, and educational organisations connect, share knowledge, and learn together through QSquads and other learning experiences. We want edsoQ to be welcoming, useful, safe, and fair. Everyone who uses the platform helps shape that environment.
These Community Guidelines explain the behaviour and content expected on edsoQ. They are designed around a simple idea: learning works best when people can participate confidently, treat one another with respect, and trust the learning environment.
Our guiding principles
- Respect and inclusion — treat people with dignity, even when you disagree.
- Learning first — contribute content and conversations that support education, curiosity, creativity, and constructive discussion.
- Safety and wellbeing — do not threaten, exploit, intimidate, or endanger others.
- Honesty and transparency — represent yourself, your qualifications, your services, and your content accurately.
- Fair participation — respect QSquad rules, session arrangements, platform features, and other users’ time.
- Privacy and trust — protect personal information, account access, and confidential learning or classroom communications.
1. Scope and how these Guidelines work
These Guidelines apply to everyone who accesses or uses edsoQ, including students, parents and guardians, teachers, educational organisations, content creators, and other community members. They apply to profiles, posts, comments, messages, livestreams, learning materials, QSquad listings and sessions, reviews, ratings, referrals, promotional content, and other activity on or through edsoQ.
Use of edsoQ is also subject to the platform’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any applicable QSquad, payment, safety, or other platform rules. If conduct violates these Guidelines, edsoQ may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account, or take other proportionate action, subject to applicable law and platform procedures.
2. Be respectful and do not harass others
Everyone should be able to participate without bullying, intimidation, or abuse. Do not:
- Threaten, bully, humiliate, or repeatedly target another person.
- Send repeated unwanted messages or continue contacting someone after they ask you to stop.
- Organise or encourage others to harass, shame, threaten, or silence a user.
- Use slurs, degrading language, or abusive conduct to attack a person or group.
- Disrupt a class, QSquad, discussion, or educational activity to intimidate or prevent others from participating.
3. No hate or discriminatory conduct
Do not attack, dehumanise, threaten, or encourage discrimination against people because of characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other characteristics protected by applicable law. Educational discussion about discrimination, history, or social issues may be permitted when presented in a genuine, non-abusive context.
4. Protect children and young people
The safety of children and young people is especially important on a learning platform. Users must not:
- Create, request, share, or distribute sexual content involving a minor.
- Groom, sexually exploit, threaten, traffic, or attempt to exploit a child.
- Use private messages, classes, or QSquads to solicit inappropriate images or sexual contact from a minor.
- Engage in sextortion, coercion, or inappropriate sexual communication with a minor.
- Share a child’s personal details, images, school information, location, or contact details without proper authority or consent.
Report suspected child exploitation or unsafe interactions promptly through available reporting or support channels. edsoQ may restrict access, preserve relevant information where lawful, and refer matters to competent authorities when required or appropriate under applicable law. Age requirements and parent or guardian permissions are governed by the Terms of Service and applicable law.
5. Keep learning spaces safe
Do not post or encourage credible threats, physical violence, dangerous challenges, or instructions intended to cause serious harm. Do not use a QSquad or other learning feature to coordinate violence, intimidation, unlawful activity, or deliberate disruption. Graphic or sensitive material should not be shared casually; where educationally necessary, provide context and appropriate warnings, subject to platform rules.
6. Sexual content and exploitation
Do not post or distribute pornography, explicit sexual content, sexual solicitation, non-consensual intimate images, sexually explicit deepfakes, or content that sexualises or exploits minors. Do not use edsoQ to arrange sexual services or to pressure another user into sexual activity. Educational, health, or artistic material may be assessed in context, provided it complies with law and platform rules.
7. Be truthful about identity, qualifications, and content
Trust is essential in education. Do not:
- Impersonate a student, parent, teacher, organisation, public figure, or another person.
- Use fake accounts or misleading profiles to deceive users.
- Misrepresent teaching qualifications, academic credentials, institutional affiliations, experience, course outcomes, accreditation, or employment prospects.
- Post fabricated reviews, ratings, testimonials, attendance records, certificates, or learning results.
- Manipulate engagement, referrals, rewards, rankings, or other platform systems through fake or coordinated activity.
Parody, commentary, or fictional content should not be presented in a way that deceives users about a real person or organisation.
8. Educational accuracy and responsible information sharing
Share learning materials and advice responsibly. Do not knowingly publish false or misleading claims that could cause significant harm, including fabricated exam information, fake admission offers, false scholarship announcements, fraudulent qualifications, or misleading claims about visas, jobs, accreditation, or guaranteed outcomes. Distinguish opinion from fact and correct material errors when reasonably possible. Users should independently verify important academic, financial, immigration, health, and legal information with appropriate authoritative sources.
9. QSquad and learning-session conduct
QSquad participation depends on cooperation and respect for the time and commitments of students, parents or guardians, teachers, and organisations. Users should:
- Provide accurate session descriptions, subjects, levels, language, learning outcomes, schedules, and participation requirements.
- Join sessions on time, communicate respectfully, and avoid disruptive behaviour.
- Follow the QSquad’s confirmed arrangements, participation limits, and applicable cancellation or attendance rules.
- Avoid recording, photographing, livestreaming, or redistributing a session or another participant’s contribution without the necessary permission and lawful basis.
- Not share paid or restricted learning materials outside their permitted use.
- Raise attendance, quality, safety, or scheduling concerns through appropriate platform channels rather than threatening or abusing other participants.
These Guidelines do not replace the specific QSquad cancellation, payment, teacher availability, or refund rules published by edsoQ. Where a specific platform policy applies, users should follow that policy.
10. Privacy, consent, and personal information
Respect other people’s privacy. Do not publish or misuse personal information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission. This includes home addresses, personal phone numbers, private email addresses, passwords, financial details, identity documents, private messages, precise location information, and confidential educational records. Do not doxx, stalk, threaten, or try to access another person’s account.
Do not record or share private conversations, classes, images, or personal data without appropriate consent and compliance with applicable law. Use edsoQ’s information and features only as authorised, and protect your own login details.
11. Intellectual property and learning materials
Only upload, post, teach, or distribute material you own or are authorised to use. Respect copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, and other legal rights. Do not copy or sell another person’s course, notes, assignments, videos, presentations, tests, artwork, or other materials without permission, unless a lawful exception applies. Do not falsely claim another person’s work as your own.
12. Scams, payments, and financial integrity
Do not use edsoQ to deceive users or misuse payment, wallet, Creds, referral, reward, registration, or payout features. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Phishing, fake payment requests, fraudulent fundraising, or false giveaways.
- Misleading claims about fees, refunds, earnings, rewards, scholarships, sponsorships, or guaranteed results.
- Manipulating referrals, ratings, reviews, wallet balances, Creds, or payouts.
- Using another person’s payment method or account without authorisation.
- Promoting pyramid schemes, investment scams, or other deceptive financial arrangements.
Use official platform processes for payments and disputes. Do not ask users to share passwords, one-time passcodes, or sensitive payment credentials.
13. Spam, promotions, and commercial activity
Do not flood feeds, comments, QSquads, or messages with repetitive or unsolicited promotions. Do not send bulk messages without permission, manipulate hashtags or engagement, create bot accounts, or use unauthorised automation, scraping, or data extraction. Promotional, sponsored, affiliate, or recruitment content must be lawful, truthful, and clearly disclosed where required. Do not present an advertisement or paid endorsement as an independent recommendation.
14. AI-generated content and synthetic media
AI tools may be used for learning and creativity where permitted, but users remain responsible for what they publish. Do not use AI-generated or altered material to impersonate someone, fabricate academic evidence or real-world events, create deceptive images or audio, produce non-consensual intimate content, or mislead users about qualifications, teaching experience, or educational outcomes. Disclose materially AI-generated or altered content when necessary to avoid misleading others or when required by platform rules or applicable law.
15. Illegal, dangerous, or restricted activity
Do not use edsoQ to facilitate fraud, trafficking, exploitation, unlawful sales, money laundering, hacking, theft, or other illegal activity. Do not promote regulated goods or services in ways that violate applicable law, or encourage minors to access age-restricted products or services. Content shared for legitimate educational, journalistic, research, or public-interest purposes may be considered in context, but context does not excuse conduct that is unlawful or creates a serious safety risk.
16. Platform security and fair use
Do not attempt to access restricted systems or accounts, bypass security or moderation controls, exploit vulnerabilities, reverse engineer or disrupt the service where prohibited, distribute malware, scrape platform data without authorisation, or interfere with other users’ access. Do not submit knowingly false or abusive reports. Good-faith reports help us protect the community.
17. Reporting concerns
If you see content or behaviour that may violate these Guidelines, use the reporting tools available on edsoQ or contact the platform’s designated support channel. Where possible, provide the relevant username, link, date, and a concise explanation. Do not publicly expose private information or retaliate against someone for making a good-faith report.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact the relevant local emergency services. Platform reporting is not a substitute for emergency assistance.
18. How edsoQ may enforce these Guidelines
We review reports and other signals, taking account of the nature and seriousness of the conduct, context, potential harm, prior violations, and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, action may include:
- Removing or limiting the visibility of content.
- Adding a warning or label, or restricting a feature.
- Removing content or access to a QSquad or learning activity.
- Issuing a warning or temporarily suspending an account.
- Restricting monetisation, referral, reward, or payout features where permitted.
- Permanently disabling an account or referring a matter to relevant authorities where required or appropriate.
Serious violations—especially child exploitation, credible threats, fraud, or repeated harmful conduct—may result in immediate restrictions. Where an appeal or review process is available, affected users may request a review through the official support channel. edsoQ may uphold, change, or reverse a decision after review.
19. Updates to these Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines to reflect changes to edsoQ, community needs, safety practices, or applicable law. The updated version will be published through the platform with a revised date where appropriate. Continued use of edsoQ after an update takes effect is subject to the updated Guidelines, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Verification scope and independent responsibility
Verification refers only to the particular checks described for that verification process. Reviewing a submitted identity document, licence or certificate is not the same as confirming every statement with an issuer. Verification is not accreditation, a quality rating, an assurance of authorisation in every jurisdiction or a guarantee of future conduct. Providers must keep submitted details current and must not describe an edsoQ badge as official educational approval.
Teachers and organisations are independently responsible for their profiles, qualifications, affiliations, listings, materials, teaching delivery and conduct. Each user is responsible for their own content and behaviour. Learners and parents should review suitability, syllabus, schedule, price and relevant credentials before joining. edsoQ does not guarantee teaching quality, every user statement, accreditation, future conduct or learning outcomes. edsoQ remains responsible for its own platform processes and any duties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our shared commitment
edsoQ is built around learning, connection, and shared opportunity. Help us make it a place where people can ask questions, exchange ideas, teach, learn, and grow—with respect, honesty, and care for the community.
