Tax is added on top
Where Tax applies to a QSquad, it is added on top of the price rather than hidden inside it. Tax is charged on the teaching share and any additional fees, never on an optional donation. The join screen always states whether Tax is included or additional.
What the join screen shows
Before you confirm joining a QSquad, the join screen shows the amount it will hold, any additional fees the teacher listed, the optional donation and the applicable Tax, each on its own line, and the total. The hold is the most you can be charged for that QSquad; at the joining deadline you pay your share and the rest is released.

A discount or scholarship applies only under its published terms. Check the final payment summary before confirming.
