Changes to a QSquad session count
Changes to session count need approval because they affect what learners pay.
Why the number matters
The session count affects the total course commitment. A material change must not silently increase a learner's accepted amount or alter a fixed booking.
Before the lock
A proposed change affecting existing learners must explain the old and new session count, schedule and price effect, and follow the applicable consent and approval process. Learners retain the normal pre-lock exit option.
After the lock
Joining and ordinary withdrawal close 24 hours before the first session. Before that deadline a learner may leave and the reservation is released under the payment rules. At the deadline, enrolment is assessed and the disclosed share is charged from the hold; any excess hold is released. If minimum enrolment is not met, the QSquad does not proceed and holds are released. After the deadline, students, parents, teachers and organisations cannot make an ordinary cancellation or removal. Safety restrictions, technical incident handling and remedies for non-delivery are separate processes and do not authorise an undisclosed increase in another learner's locked payment.
Provider failure or safety
A proposed replacement after non-delivery or an edsoQ safety restriction is a separate case. It must not be presented as an ordinary silent timetable edit or impose a new charge without valid acceptance.
