What a parent can see
Existing-account links need student approval; new invitation-based accounts are linked to the inviter under the applicable access rules.
New and existing accounts
A learner under 18 must register through a valid single-use parent or guardian invitation. From the learner's 18th birthday, independent registration is permitted without that invitation, subject to other account eligibility requirements. A new invited learner is linked to the inviting parent or guardian. Linking an existing account requires the student's approval before parent access is granted.
Permitted information
An active link may allow the linked learner's sessions, attendance, marks and learning payments to be viewed under the applicable account permissions. The link does not provide general access to submitted work, private communications or every record.
Pending requests
A request to link an existing account gives no access until the student approves. Do not assume that knowing a learner's email or username establishes authority.
Manage responsibly
Use parent access for the learner's support. Do not publish their private information or bypass age-related safeguards. Contact Support about an incorrect link or changed authority.
