New under-18 learners register through a parent invitation; linking an existing account requires student approval.
Invite a new learner under 18
A learner under 18 must register through a valid single-use parent or guardian invitation. From the learner's 18th birthday, independent registration is permitted without that invitation, subject to other account eligibility requirements. A new invited learner is linked to the inviting parent or guardian. Linking an existing account requires the student's approval before parent access is granted.
Link an existing account
A parent or guardian may request a link using the supported identifier or invitation process. The existing student must approve before parent access is granted; a pending request discloses no learning information.
Authority and access
Use the process only where you have authority. The link grants only the access allowed by the student approval, account rules and applicable law. It does not give unrestricted access to every private message or submitted assignment.
Problems with a link
Check invitation expiry and recipient details. Do not share an invitation publicly. Contact Support if the link appears incorrect or authority has changed.
