Wallet Terms

Adding funds as Creds, what each role may do with them, and refunds.

Version 4Draft, effective 4 November 2026

edsoQ is operated by [Operator legal entity — to be confirmed], whose registered address is [Registered address — to be confirmed].

Purpose of the wallet

Creds are payment credits representing confirmed top-ups or eligible platform earnings. One Cred has a value of USD 0.40. Creds are not reward or rebate points. Attendance, referrals, ratings and course completion do not generate reward Creds. There are no Creds lifetime reward levels or colour multipliers.

Role permissions

Eligible students and parents may add funds and make supported learning payments. Under-18 learners do not fund their own places; their parent or guardian pays from the parent wallet. Teachers receive eligible earnings and do not need to deposit money to teach. The teacher subscription is billed in USD to a saved payment card, separately from the wallet: saving a subscription card is not a wallet deposit, adds no Creds and does not grant withdrawal access, and a subscription fee is not deducted from the wallet. Organisations use their organisation wallet under authorised access. Students and parents cannot withdraw wallet Creds as cash.

Understanding balances

Available Creds can be used for eligible transactions. Reserved Creds are held for a pending commitment. Pending earnings have not yet become available for payout. Disputed or restricted funds may not be spent or withdrawn while the applicable restriction remains. A total balance is not a promise that every amount is immediately available.

Funding and transaction records

Funding depends on verified payment confirmation. A top-up is paid by card in US dollars at USD 0.40 per Cred, or in another supported currency at the day’s rate. Review the amount paid, Creds received, applicable charges and any conversion before confirming. Keep the payment reference if there is a discrepancy. Wallet entries should distinguish the original payment, any hold, final charge, release, refund and adjustment rather than conceal the history.

QSquad reservations

Joining and ordinary withdrawal close 24 hours before the first session. Before that deadline a learner may leave and the reservation is released under the payment rules. At the deadline, enrolment is assessed and the disclosed share is charged from the hold; any excess hold is released. If minimum enrolment is not met, the QSquad does not proceed and holds are released. After the deadline, students, parents, teachers and organisations cannot make an ordinary cancellation or removal. Safety restrictions, technical incident handling and remedies for non-delivery are separate processes and do not authorise an undisclosed increase in another learner’s locked payment.

Earnings and payouts

Eligible teacher and organisation earnings are governed by the revenue-sharing and session terms. Payout requests are subject to available balance, verification, review, provider requirements and disclosed charges. A request does not guarantee approval or a particular processing date.

Refunds and account closure

Ordinary approved QSquad refunds return to the paying wallet in Creds, including a parent wallet that funded the place. Failed or duplicate card transactions and mandatory payment remedies are assessed separately. On closure, outstanding transactions, disputes and applicable duties must be addressed; do not assume that closing an account cashes out a student or parent wallet.

Security and corrections

Do not share credentials, attempt transfers that are not supported, or manipulate balances. An error or reversal may require an identified adjustment and review. Contact Support with the transaction reference rather than posting private payment information.

Questions and requests

Contact support@edsoq.com or use edsoq.com/contact. Include the relevant account, QSquad, session or transaction reference. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or full payment-card details. A request does not guarantee a particular decision or processing time. Rights and duties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
