Authority and accurate details
Use the parent or guardian role only where you have authority to act for the learner. Provide truthful details and protect your own account. Do not impersonate the learner or obtain access using someone else’s credentials.
Invitation and existing accounts
A learner under 18 must register through a valid single-use parent or guardian invitation. From the learner’s 18th birthday, independent registration is permitted without that invitation, subject to other account eligibility requirements. A new invited learner is linked to the inviting parent or guardian. Linking an existing account requires the student’s approval before parent access is granted.
Permitted oversight
An active parent link permits only the information and actions allowed by that link, the learner’s age and applicable rules. A pending existing-account request gives no access. Parent access is not permission to publish the learner’s work, identity documents or private communications. Linking does not automatically establish access to every message or submitted assignment.
Payments and choice
Under-18 learning places are paid from the parent wallet. Review the provider, syllabus, suitability, schedule, complete price and lock deadline before joining for a learner. An ordinary approved refund for a parent-funded place returns to the paying parent wallet, subject to the Refund Policy and mandatory rights.
Fixed commitments
Joining and ordinary withdrawal close 24 hours before the first session. Before that deadline a learner may leave and the reservation is released under the payment rules. At the deadline, enrolment is assessed and the disclosed share is charged from the hold; any excess hold is released. If minimum enrolment is not met, the QSquad does not proceed and holds are released. After the deadline, students, parents, teachers and organisations cannot make an ordinary cancellation or removal. Safety restrictions, technical incident handling and remedies for non-delivery are separate processes and do not authorise an undisclosed increase in another learner’s locked payment.
Supervision and provider responsibility
Teachers and organisations are independently responsible for their profiles, qualifications, affiliations, listings, materials, teaching delivery and conduct. Each user is responsible for their own content and behaviour. Learners and parents should review suitability, syllabus, schedule, price and relevant credentials before joining. edsoQ does not guarantee teaching quality, every user statement, accreditation, future conduct or learning outcomes. edsoQ remains responsible for its own platform processes and any duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Discuss privacy and respectful participation with the learner and use applicable supervision controls.
Concerns
Report safety, attendance or payment concerns with the session or transaction reference. Do not retaliate against another participant or post private learner information as evidence. A report does not guarantee a particular disciplinary or refund decision.
Questions and requests
Contact support@edsoq.com or use edsoq.com/contact. Include the relevant account, QSquad, session or transaction reference. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or full payment-card details. A request does not guarantee a particular decision or processing time. Rights and duties that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
